Want to be a guest blogger?
Would you like to have your guest blog post seen by thousands of scholars and academics interested in a non-traditional academic career and want to build a successful business?
What kind of posts do we want?
Guest posts that give information to academics on how to make a respectable living with their academic knowledge if they can’t get tenure but don’t want to spend their lives as an adjunct. Essentially, it means taking the knowledge that they have — whether it is teaching, translating, writing, or publishing — and taking those skills out into the open market. I look at case studies of academics such as yourself who have done this, learn their story, dissect their method of building a building a business and finding success, and offer that information to academics who are thinking of a similar career move.
How are you successful? What interesting strategies have you discovered? What is your story about finding success? Do you have inspiration for the rest of us?
What kind of posts don’t we want?
Spammy posts filled with links or self-promotion. We aren’t here to hear about your business or service (although it is probably wonderful). We are here to get excellent content, not content-thin article with keyword-rich links. The articles need to be substantial and relevant to the scholar-entrepreneur audience. We are happy to include a short bio of you and a link to your website at the end of the article, but otherwise do not want you to mention your product or service unless it relates to your story in an indirect way.
If you don’t follow these guidelines, we will delete your email.
Why write for us?
